In/Spectre 02

synopsis:

Iwanaga Kotoko became the god of wisdom to supernatural beings and spends her days solving problems for them. However, the boy who she fell in head of heels for, Sakuragwa Kuro, is someone that is feared by all supernatural creatures. The two of them face various mysterious incidents involving the supernatural in this love x romance x mystery series. Where will these fantastical incidents lead them and what will happen with Kotoko’s crush?

My views:

Episode two of In/Spectre was kind of strange but in a good way. Kotoko shows concern over Kuro’s health because of something that happened in episode one. She also continues to state very confidently what she wants their relationship to be. While he continues to ignore her. In this episode we get a tiny bit more information on Kuro and his past. Not enough to satiate me but at least it was something. Kotoko continues on with her duties while manipulating Kuro to come to her side regardless of his original intentions.

What did it for me:

Kuro did it for me this episode. I don’t know if I’m in my feels because this is a new show and it’s exciting or I’m actually crushing. His character has layers like an onion [yes, a Shrek reference] and so far with these two episodes we see different layers of his personality.

Kotoko is a strong female lead and I live for that but she also knows herself very well. She has come to terms with her limitations [so it seems]. She knows who she is and what she’s destined to become. Kuro does not. I can’t help but hope we’ll see a shit ton of character development in Kuro throughout the episodes.

Until Next Time
