Why I’ve Been Gone & Feb ’21 Wrap Up

Why I’ve Been Gone…

Hello! I’ve been gone from this blog for almost two weeks now. I’ll give you the abbreviated version, Life got real shitty, real quick. My youngest child came down with something. It could have been Covid or just the flu. We honestly may never know but either way my anxiety wouldn’t let me breathe. I’ve never been more stressed in my life. I had multiple sleepless nights because my six year old sounded coughed all night. Thus the blog took a back seat for a while. Understandably my family comes first. Everything’s okay. She’s getting better but we are still quarantined for another two weeks.

Feb ’21 Monthly Wrap Up

My reading for this month sucked. This is probably going to be the shortest wrap up of the year. I finished Overcome by Lora Leigh which is composed of three Breed novellas. I’m about half way through Reckless Road by Christine Feehan. That’s it. That is the extent of my reading for the month of February.

This normally isn’t a section in my wrap ups but pretty much all I did this month was play on my switch. I’m counting this as a form of self care. I finished the main story for Pokemon Sword and am currently working on beating the Isle of Armor. I started playing Stardew Valley and I don’t know if I hate it or love it. It’s relaxing but I’m pretty sure I’m failing as a farmer. I’m finally getting my island together on Animal Crossing. I have a waiting area for my airport, a plaza, and a cafe. I’m currently trying to kick out Drago because he’s a slob and I don’t need roaches on my island.

What I’m Watching

I think the whole world is watching Wanda Vision but I absolutely love the show. If you didn’t know Wanda is my favorite Avenger and I’d die for her. I Started the Star Wars Saga. I’m completely ashamed that it took me this long even give it a try. I’m obsessed. MTV did a thing where they gave Bretman Rock his own reality show called Following Bretman Rock. I’m here for it. I think he’s freaking adorable and his life is unproblematic yet entertaining. Funny how easy it is to be a semi-celebrity and be both.

This was my month of February. Seemingly uneventful and lackluster but it is what it is. I’ll be posting more in March hoping to redeem myself for this shit show.

With Love,
