As summer winds down I feel the need to reflect on the last few months of heat and perspiration. Unfortunately, I can’t remember what blog I found this book tag on but if I do find them they’ll be tagged. Enough chit chat let’s get into it.
What Book makes you think of summer?
When I think of summer I think of my teenage years filled with bubble gum lipstick and SpongeBob popsicles. Vampires and Werewolves were all the rage and you might be thinking I’m going to say Twilight and while that series did tremendously impact my youth it doesn’t even come close to the Evermore Series by Alyson Noel.
What book has brightened your day?
The beast in Him
Every time I need a laugh or a smile my go to book is The Beast in Him by Shelly Laurenston. Jessica Ward and Bobby Ray Smith are my favorite couple. I love them bad.
Find a book with yellow on it.
What is your favourite summer beach read?
I’m not a fan of sand and sun. The things found in ocean water terrify me. So for me this is a hypothetical question. If I was someone who loved the beach I think my go to reads would be heavy on the romance but also kind of dramatic and spicy. I’d have to go with Lead by Kylie Scott and/or Honor by Jay Crownover.
What action book had you running for the ice cream van?
Honestly, every installment of the Breeds Series by Lora Leigh but some of my favorite ones are Jacob’s Faith, Bengal’s Quest, and Harmony’s Way.
(Sunburn) What book left you with a bad or painful ending?
Everything about this book was messed up. It took me so long to get over it too.
(Sunset) What book gave you the happiest feelings when it ended?
I don’t read YA novels as much as I’d like too but Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas always warms me up when I think about it.
What book cover reminds you of a sunset?
The yellows and oranges in the cover of Leopards Rage by Christine Feehan give summer nights 8pm vibes.
What is one book or series you hope to read this summer?
I had hoped to put a dent in the immortal instruments series this summer but no dice. I haven’t even started book one yet. *sighs in disapproval*
